Aquatic Complex To Make A Big Splash In Palm Beach Gardens

Summer is almost here! If you’re like me, you’re planning all the fun stuff to do outside in the beautiful sunshine. Also (like me), you’re refusing to plan a trip to any park that doesn’t have a splash pad or water feature because you know it will just be WAY TOO HOT. Am I right?

Good news!

A new aquatic complex that will open in summer 2023 is expected to be a big splash for the City of Palm Beach Gardens. The long awaited and newly renovated water area is officially opening THIS MONTH! The new complex will feature zero-depth entry, two new water slides, a two-person rock climbing wall, and additional 5 lanes for lap swimming. Celebrate the Grand Opening Memorial Day Weekend!

Splash Into Storytime

Splash pads always make our summer bucket list. I’m determined this summer to hit every splash pad in Palm Beach! (Come back to see my Top Ten Splash Pads in the area!) Splash pads are a great way for the kids to cool off, burn their last bit of energy before a naptime, and you can even dip your foot in for a refreshing cool down. Or heck, come in your suit and splash the kids. (Revenge is best served at the splash pad, right?)

Make sure to check out the new Splash Zone at the Aquatic Complex. The City of Palm Beach Gardens is hosting a Splash Into Storytime Summer Reading and Play Series! I love the idea of bringing the kids’ favorite storybook characters like Llama Llama and Clifford to talk about water safety and overcoming the fear of the pool! Join weekly for a water safety lesson story followed by open play at the Splash Zone. Stories will also be read in American Sign Language. Please note the pool will be cleared promptly at 10:55am to reset the facility. *No story or open play on July 4.
