As Father’s Day quickly approaches we all start to feel a little frazzled because we have to close out the school year, buy teacher gifts, plan vacations, & then figure out what in the world to get the men in our lives.

So, I wanted to round up a few ideas to make this decision easier for you. Below are a few gift guides with some ideas for all different kinds of dads & everything is linked on LIKEtoKNOW.it //

Some things I suggest are knowing their hobbies and what they enjoy because then it will be that much more personal. If they are athletes or enjoy sports then think sneakers, basketball shorts, tanks, dry fits…

If they love being on the water, enjoy fishing or own a boat then you may want to think about swim trunks, sandals, hats, sunglasses, rash guards, a nice rod, water-resistant watch…

If they seem to be more of a home body or like video games then you may want to think of a fun game, add on to their system, speakers, good earphones/AirPods, comfy tees & shorts, slippers, coffee or beer mugs…

Nordstrom Sale ends June 6th & has some great Father’s Day options as well!

You can never go wrong with something personalized such as a money clip, drink glasses, or a nice work pen! Check out taudrey for a few sweet personalized pieces, engrave a wallet with a nice message from @swankybadger, or get a personalized minted or shutterfly album or picture frame with family pictures.

Another great option to attach to a gift or in place of one is something the kids made. You can buy books on Amazon that can be personalized by kids filling in blanks or writing their personal memories or you can have younger kids make a special craft & then add a message or picture (polaroids work great!)

Below you I’ll find a few crafty ideas that you can use to make something fun for dad with the kids…

Use cardstock to make a circle & then fold in half, then cut out a white, brown, green & red piece for the toppings. Last, write different reasons dad is awesome on each topping & place inside to complete your taco.

Use half or a whole piece of cardstock paper & draw a circle. Then have your child sponge paint it yellow & draw eyes and a smile. Last, glue some penne pasta simulating rays of sunshine & write your message.

Daddy, I love you to the moon and back!

Use a child’s footprint and then cut out (or use stickers) some stars & the triangle, side panels, and fire for the bottom too. Or you can draw the pieces and the kids can color them.

Loved making this one a few years ago with my daughter. You can make it for grandpa or change the wording to daddy or papa!

Use a child’s painted handprint and then add the eye and mouth in black. Write the message and draw the hook. So easy!

Hoping these ideas will help ease some of the end of the year stressors, as I know first hand how busy things get & how hard it can be to come up with ideas that are affordable and meaningful. There will be a few more ideas posted to LIKEtoKNOW.it and on my Instagram highlight if you’re interested in checking those out. Good luck & Happy Father’s Day to all those amazing daddies & grand-daddies!
